Clear Aligners

Clear, removable trays that straighten teeth without brackets or wires, scanned with iTero instead of impression putty.

A series of clear, removable trays that move your teeth a little at a time. You wear each set for one to two weeks, then switch to the next one in the series.

We scan your teeth with the iTero scanner rather than taking impressions, plan the whole sequence digitally, and have your trays made. You wear them 20 to 22 hours a day, taking them out to eat and to brush.

Crowding, gaps, and mild to moderate bite problems get corrected without anyone at work noticing you are in treatment, and straighter teeth are easier to keep clean.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about clear aligners.

Adults and teens with crowding, spacing, or a bite that has shifted over the years. It is a common choice for people who ruled out braces because of how they would look.

Mild pressure for a day or two after each new tray, then nothing. Speaking normally takes about a week to get used to, and most people stop noticing the trays entirely.

Simple cases run about six months. More involved ones run twelve to eighteen. Dr. Ladhar gives you a range after the scan rather than a guess before it.

They only work while they are in your mouth. If 20 hours a day is not realistic for you, say so and we will talk about what else might fit.

There is no recovery, but there is a retainer. Teeth drift back without one, so plan on a custom retainer at night for the long term.
